Gay Pride in india - in a historical judgement, the court of five Supreme Court Judges, on 6 September, partially annulled the British era law criminalizing homosexual sex in India.


 While reading his opinion on IPC SECTION 377, the president of the supreme court of India, Dipak Misra, said: " I am what I am. Then take me as I am. No one can escape his individuality ".

The other judge indicated "there must be a time to end historical discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and choice, that moment is now".



India has always been a country for everyone and people live here in peace and tranquility indifferent to their personal preferences. This decision of the supreme court has shown it again
